BBC Gardeners' World Live 2026
I teamed up with fellow designer Alice Pote to create a Beautiful Border at BBC Gardeners' World Live 2026. We were delighted to be awarded a Platinum Award and named BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine Subscribers’ Best Beautiful Border 2026.
Let’s introduce you to our design…
Our Story
The theme for the 2026 show was Once Upon a Time, and our design was inspired by a garden we had the privilege of restoring together a few years ago.
Once enchanting but slowly reclaimed by nature, we spent two years uncovering its hidden beauty and bringing back its storybook charm.
Our show garden reflected that journey—from wild beginnings to thoughtful renewal. The layout leads from an overgrown, forgotten corner along a path to curated planting and a calm, reflective seating space.
