Wildlife Friendly Gravel Garden, Godalming
This garden in Godalming was transformed by removing the traditional lawn and replacing it with a relaxed, naturalistic gravel garden. Meandering stepping stones lead through layers of wildlife-friendly planting, where grasses, ferns and flowering perennials provide texture, movement and a long season of interest. Corten steel water bowls add warmth and a contemporary focal point while also providing a valuable source of water for wildlife. The result is an informal, immersive garden that feels abundant, peaceful and alive.
