This beautiful Clapham property needed a front garden to complement its character and create a calm, welcoming entrance. Taking inspiration from the client’s existing Acer, I created a Japanese-style garden combining strong evergreen structure with softer, textural planting. Stepping stones lead through a gravel garden, while a striking Welsh slate feature stone provides a sculptural focal point. The finished space feels simple, serene and considered, with interest throughout the year.
