About me

Gardening has always been my passion and having grown up in a family of keen gardeners, I was surrounded by plants and plant knowledge from a very young age. After 20 years in the not-for-profit sector, I decided to turn my love of gardening into a career and launched Georgina Spencer Gardens after studying Horticulture with the RHS and obtaining a diploma in Garden Design with the British Academy of Garden Design.

In 2026, my Beautiful Border design at BBC Gardeners’ World Live at the NEC was awarded a Platinum Award and named BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine Subscribers’ Best Beautiful Border 2026.
